KPPS Hospitality 2010

Life after dark in Newton, KS? Absolutely! While days at the school are filled with information, fun, and learning, evenings are a little easier. We still keep you fed and busy most evenings.  Visit our pictures page for more fun stuff.

Ready for some more “after hours” fun? Themes and more information coming soon.

SUNDAY EVENING
The Kansas Professional Photographers Association Board of Directors,
following their board meeting, will join us at the sandwich bar. Classes will not
start until 4:30 PM, so some of the instructors will have time for an evening
shoot. After dark the evening hospitality is in the courtyard at the Days
Inn. There are plenty of activities and games planned for this night in addition to
the usual cool beverages and shooting the bull.
MONDAY EVENING
Hospitality in the courtyard of the Days Inn. Plenty of time to relax and
enjoy spending time with your fellow students. Cards, cool beverages or just a
time to unwind.
TUESDAY NOON
As the classes change we have planned an auction of backgrounds painted by
Susan Treft and her class students. Our own KPPS board member, Jim Stucky,
presides as auctioneer. Great backgrounds are available. Proceeds will provide
school scholarships next year.
TUESDAY EVENING
A great evening full of activities starts with a pizza party. More info to follow
GWPPA members will join us this evening. Courtyard hospitality at the Days Inn.
WEDNESDAY EVENING
Unwind from a busy day of classes. This evening is open, so students can relax,
gather with friends, or just enjoy some free time. Hospitality in the courtyard at
the Days Inn. Plenty of snacks and cool beverages will be there for you.

Prior to school, all students will be mailed a complete school
schedule, a list of what they might need for class, and complete
information about their week at KPPS
