This entry-level course is designed to teach camera basics, studio lighting basics and
posing. The class is structured so the beginning photographer's questions will be
answered. A special emphasis is put on basics of studio lighting, lighting sources,
camera operation and basics of male and female posing, all complete with diagrams
and samples. For more personal attention, this class is limited to 12 students.

Charlie joined the Professional Photographers of Greater Kansas City and
entered his first print competition in 1977. His photography has consistently received
local, state and national awards. Several of his images have received Kodak Gallery and
Fuji Masterpiece Awards. He has lectured and given seminars for the
Professional Photographers of America, the Triangle School, the Kansas School and the Oklahoma State Convention. He is a Past President of the Greater Kansas City
Professional Photographers Association. Charlie's images have appeared in the
Professional Photographer and Lens Magazines as well as other publications and
newspapers. His images have also appeared in the first Kodak Gallery Award Book and
the Professional Photographers of America Loan and General Collection Books. He has
also had some of his images on display in the Photography Hall of Fame, Epcot Center and
Sherman Hines Maritime Museum in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
